Aparecido B. Pereira, chairman of the Board of Directors
Also working as medical assistant in the area of Clinical Biochemistry at Fleury, Aparecido B. Pereira was a professor of Nephrology at the Federal University of São Paulo, where he still acts with research and tutors post-graduation students. He is an expert in Clinical Pathology by the Brazilian Medical Association. He graduated, was medical resident and earned his doctor’s degree in Nephrology at the Escola Paulista de Medicina, Federal University of São Paulo, and he finished his post-doctorate at the Scripps Clinic Research Foundation, in La Jolla, California, United States. At Fleury, he worked as technical director and superintendent in other management terms.
José Gilberto H. Vieira, vice-president of the Board of Directors
Medical assistant in Endocrinology at Fleury, he has also worked as Service, Technical, and Scientific Development Director. José Gilberto H. Vieira earned his doctor’s degree in Endocrinology at Escola Paulista de Medicina (Unifesp) and finished his post-doctorate at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, United States. He is also an associated researcher in Endocrinology at the Escola Paulista de Medicina (Unifesp).
Adagmar Andriolo, secretary of the Board of Directors
Medical assistant in Clinical Biochemistry and Toxicology. He graduated at Escola Paulista de Medicina (Unifesp), where he works as tenured professor for the Department of Medicine. Currently, he is responsible for the Discipline and the Medical Residence Program in Clinical Pathology. He was member of the Regional Medicine Council of the State of São Paulo and he was President of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology. In Fleury, he was part of the Management, in former Medical and Technical Committees. Currently, he is the president of the Ethics Committee of the Institution.
Mauro Figueiredo, member of the Board of Directors
He joined the company in 1996, being appointed as President of Fleury in 2005. Since 2007, his mandate has increased, acting as president of the whole group, with four business units. He has worked with healthcare for more than 20 years, previously in academic positions and in the management of public institutions. He finished his international MBA at Fundação Dom Cabral, in cooperation with Sauder School of Business, Canada. He graduated in Medicine by FMRP-USP, where he also finished his Medical Residence, Doctorate and Livre-Docência (Habilitation). He earned his post-doctorate from the University of Oxford, England.

José Paschoal Rossetti
Professor and researcher at Fundação Dom Cabral, working with advanced management programs. Full Professor of Economics and Macrotrend at MBA/FDC. He is the author of fifteen books, including Governança Corporativa: Fundamentos, Desenvolvimento e Tendências, co-author with Adriana Andrade (Planejamento Corporativo Usiminas); Introdução à Economia, a classic and best-seller in this area; Contabilidade Social; Economia Monetária; Política e Programação Econômicas; Economia de Mercado: Fundamentos, Falácias e Valores. He has worked as company consultant for more than thirty years, to analyze the national and international economic environments and formulate reference scenery for strategic planning.
Luiz Carlos Vaini
Graduate in Accounting and Economic Sciences. Professor at FEA/PUC-SP, Luiz Carlos participates in several Class associations, including the Regional Accounts Council of the State of São Paulo. He is member of different Accounting and Auditing Technical Commissions, he developed his career in independent auditing in multinational companies, culminating with his position as partner at Coopers Lybrand. He is currently Technical Vice-President of the Federal Accounting Council and he works as consultant and assistant to family companies, and executives and corporate governance. He has been part in several auditing committees and boards.
Marcelo Pereira Malta de Araujo
Graduate in Mechanic Engineering by Instituto Militar de Engenharia, Marcelo Pereira Malta de Araújo has a graduate degree in Business Administration by Fundação Dom Cabral / INSEAD, France, and post-graduation in Corporate Management by University of Harvard, USA. He worked for 10 years at Shell Brasil S/A (Oil), in systems, operations, and logistics, sales, marketing, planning and engineering, 10 years at Natura, where he worked as Commercial Director and Innovation and Business Development Vice-President, and 1.5 years at CSN - Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional, where he worked as Administration and Participation Executive Director. Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of Camargo Corrêa S.A, holding of the group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of São Paulo Alpargatas S.A., and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Santista Têxtil S.A.
